Description
Light touch is a equine term but also has a second meaning for this painting. Ms. Simon's maiden name is Light. Hence ("Capturing the Light", "Light Touch", "Lighthouse Hill"). Pictured in this painting is Linda's brother and nephew (Rob Light seated, Jared light in back). They are hauling milk to the city just like Ms. Simons Grandfather Hill did! Except, her Grandfather hauled milk with many 18 wheelers to New York City. R. Light and son and Don Hill and son makes this all in the family! Copyright~ ALL RIGHTS RESERVED

Linda, I love this painting and especially the story behind it. Thanks much for sharing! It is with pride and pleasure that I chose your artwork to be FEATURED on our homepage of the Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery group. Your artwork is very worthy of being featured in our group and for other artists to see and appreciate. Also it is good exposure for your art to be shown to prospective buyers, as it is of the high quality that people are looking for. Randy "Elvis" Rosenberger (admin. of WFS group)
